FULL BIOGRAPHY
No True Scotsman is an orchestral indie-folk band based out of New Orleans--the land of Americana, Blues, and Jazz. Every aspect of this group's presence, from the composition all the way to aesthetic is inspired by their classical and jazz training.

Songwriter Seth Scott handpicked each of the members: vocalist Eva Araya, cellist Josh Sierra, Drummer Robb Aquadro, and bassist Sam Dingle.

The group officially formed in September 2014, and they’ve been folkin’ around ever since. NTS posted an iPhone video from one of their practices on Facebook, and, unexpectedly, garnered thousands of views and shares. That was when the band decided to stick together for the long haul.

No True Scotsman is all about Do-it-Yourself, preserving life, and open lifestyle choices.

Their first single, “Boxes,” dropped in early 2015, with a promotional recording of “Video Games” released shortly after. Their first official release, the “No True Scotsman EP” released in December of 2016. It is currently available on iTunes, Spotify, and Bandcamp.
